2012 8-Month Knitting Club ~ International & Canada

Yarns to make your spirit sing! These luxuriously soft and beautiful yarns are dyed in small batches of unique, saturated color. All colors in the Club are unique and will not be available to the public for one year. A variety of colors and dyeing methods will be utilized to create some softly variegated yarns, as well as semi-solid colors that are better for cables and other detailed stitchwork.

I have put together a selection of different yarns for a unique knitting experience each month. 4 Ply DK Weight Cashmere is a special yarn only available to club members. In addition, Brigantia, a beautiful DK weight blend of 85% Polwarth and 15% Bombyx Silk, is a new yarn I am considering adding to my regular repetoire, and as club members you'll be the first to experience it (and let me know what you think :-D ). Each of these yarns are created with the highest quality fibers from around the world.

The Club is a monthly subscription rather than a lump sum payment up front. The price per month represents the total cost of the Club Fibers, less twenty-five percent (25%) for Special Club Pricing, plus shipping, divided by eight (8) monthly payments.

Please note that your payment will occur on the same day each month, depending on the initial subscription date, and will therefore occur 4 to 6 weeks prior to each club shipment (so at the commencement of the club, you may pay January and February both before receiving the first shipment, but it will all even out in the end.

This monthly amount will be charged automatically through PayPal.

March 1: One skein of "Decima" (70% Superfine Merino, 30% Bombyx Silk Laceweight), 50g,
approx. 550 yards
April 1: One skein of "Holda" (80% Lambswool, 10% Cashmere, 10% Angora Worsted),100g, approx. 295 yards
May 1: One skein of "Elysium" (4 Ply 100% Cashmere DK), 56g, approx. 200 yards
June 1: One skein of "Brigantia" (85% Polwarth, 15% Bombyx Silk DK), 250g, approx. 720 yards per skein
July 1: One skein of "Sunna" (70% Merino, 20% Cashmere, 10% Bombyx Silk Fingering), 115g, approx. 356 yards
August1: One skein of "Lyra" (50% Alpaca / 30% Merino, 20% Bombyx Silk Aran / Light Worsted), 235g, approx. 525 yards
September 1: One skein of "Nona" (50% Merino, 25% Cashmere, 25% Bombyx Silk Heavy Lace), 115g, approximately 63o yards
October 1: One skein of "Verdande" (75% Superwash Merino, 15% Cashmere, 10% Bombyx Silk Worsted Weight), 115g, approximately 220 yards

As in previous years, subscribers may choose the color of their cashmere shipment (all other shipments will be in a variety of colors that are a surprise :-D ). Color choices for the cashmere shipment are as follows. Please note that color descriptions are just for a general idea of the color family for each option, but are not yet set colorways. There may be some variation in the final colors:

Aquamarine: subtle greens and green-blues
Emerald: deep, rich greens
Lapis Lazuli: rich blues
Sodalite: pale, icy blues and grays
Amethyst: subtle violet-purples and lavenders
Tanzanite: rich indigo-purples and blue-purples
Ruby: vibrant reds
Carnelian: rich, deep oranges
Tiger Eye: rich browns, tans, golds
Chrysanthemum Stone: deep charcoals and grays

* Membership is limited and this subscription page will only stay open as long as spaces are available.

Subscriptions at the above prices are for Canada and other International Destinations. For United Stataes Subscriptions, please see the United States Subscription page.

* All subsciptions must be paid through PayPal and due to the nature of the Club pricing, cannot be cancelled after the commencement of the Club.

* The above shipping dates are estimates and shipments will occur on or around these dates. Depending upon availability and potential supply shipment delays, yarns may be swapped between months.

*Shipping and handling and Virginia State Sales Tax are included in the subscription price.

* All yarns are handpainted in small, one-of-a-kind batches. Colors will vary between subscribers.

* All Club Members will receive the opportunity to subscribe for future clubs prior to a general announcement elsewhere.

* Club yarns are dyed especially for yarn club subscriptions and are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
