I'll be at the following festivals in 2008 ~ look for my sign and stop by to visit!
May 3-4, 2008: Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival.
I am located in the Main Exhibit Building, Spot A30. That's on the left hand wall when you walk in the front doors, down about 3/4, near the fleece competition. Talk about Fiber Overload ~ this is the Fiber Festival of All Fiber Festivals! If you can make it to Howard County, Maryland, I highly recommend attending this Festival. It is Awesome!!
May 10-11, 2008 : The New Hamsphire Sheep & Wool Festival, Hopkinton State Fair Grounds, Contoocook, New Hampshire. I will be in the Crowley Building.
July 18-20, 2008: Midwest Fiber and Folk Art Fair. A brand new fiber arts festival focusing solely on the art and craft of fiber. Crystal Lake, Illinois. This festival has an amazing selection of classes and workshops!
October 4-5, 2008: The Fall Fiber Festival of Virginia, Montpelier Estate, Orange County,Virginia. A really wonderful fiber festival not too far north of Charlottesville, VA, at President James Madison's historic Montpelier Estate in Orange County, VA. I'm now in a new, larger location: Crafters Tent IV, Spots 6-7 .
October 18-19, 2008: New York Sheep & Wool Festival, Dutchess County Fairgrounds, Rhinebeck, New York. A really awesome fiber festival, made even more fun by its location in the beautiful and historic area of Rhinebeck, New York. Another highly recommended festival for fiber enthusiasts! I am in Building A, Spot 4.
November 7-9, 2008: Knitter's Review Retreat, Seven Hills Inn, Lenox, Massachusetts. The best fiber retreat anywhere!
