Medusa is an ancient & powerful symbol of feminine power. A beautiful woman whose with snakes for hair, she was killed by Perseus while pregnant with Poseidon's child, and her head was then given to Athena. I named this yarn after Medusa because of it's undulating appearance.

This yarn is a blend of 54% Mohair, 23% Silk, 18% Wool and 5% nylon, spun ito a boucle. It knits into a really wonderfully textured fabric, and is soft enough for scarves, hats and other next-to-skin wear.

3.5 ounces (100g), 170 yards per skein (unless noted otherwise).

Needle Size: 7-9 US, 5.5-8mm

Gauge: 11-16 stitches / 4 inches
