Orihime (pronounced or-ee-HEE-may) is named for the weaving princess in Japanese folklore, who was the daughter of Tentei (the Sky King, or the universe itself) and wove beautiful clothes by the banks of the Anangawei (Milky Way).

This luxurious yarn is a blend of merino and cashmere and is especially wonderful for scarves, shawls, hats, cowls, gloves, mitts and luxurious gifts.

This beautiful yarn is a heavy fingering / sport weight. It's versatile, and works up well as scarves, hats, fingerless gloves and other projects on US Size 1-3 needles, or as lace and looser gauge items on US Size 4-7.

Each skein is 3.5 ounces (100g) and 420 yards (320m) and knits at approximately 28-32 stitches over 4 inches on US 1-3.
